More About Me
Parenting has been a wild ride. One of true joy and of challenges. I enjoy working with families who are in need of some help with boundaries, expectations, and mental health issues. Although I don’t have it all figured out, I would call this an area of expertise. I have learned so much through trial and error, taking classes, and reading multiple books (and I mean multiple!)
About Natalie
Natalie Chandler MA, LMHC, LCAC, EMDR trained
What do all of those letters mean? I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from The University of Indianapolis. I also am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Indiana as well as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor. I have been trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) by a Certified EMDRIA trainer. Find out more about EMDR by clicking on this link to EMDR.org.
I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 1995 with a Bachelors in Psychology. I spent 4 years working at Community Behavioral Network and Ascension St Vincent’s in both inpatient and outpatient. I had such great experiences with both clients, patients, and staff. It really gave me an advantage to a deeper understanding of mental health when I attended graduate school in 1999. I also worked as a barista and a nanny to pay for school. This gave me an appreciation for good customer service and a love to work with families (as a nanny).
I have been married for 18 years and we have 3 amazing children and 2 hilarious pets. I am involved in several mission organizations and I have a true passion for advocating and awareness for human trafficking. In my “free” time (sometimes I’m not sure what that is) I love to be outside, read, drink coffee, and spend time with my family and friends.
