I'm so glad you're here

How many times have you wished you could start over? Maybe you wish you could start over the day or the year. Maybe you want to restart your whole life.  I think we all get to a point when we wish we could go back and change things. Clearly we can’t change the past. However, we can pause, reflect, and see if there are things we can change that are in our control right now. That’s what therapy is all about. Taking the time to reflect on what’s not working, put it together with what is working and create a plan to move forward.

There are several great ways to do therapy. I’ve been seeing clients for nearly 20 years and have been working in the field of psychology for 25 years. I have learned so much and am so blessed to be able to offer eclectic services. Every client is different and not just one type of therapy works for everyone. I have narrowed it down to 5 modalities that I work from. I call it “Reset”.

Are you ready for a reset?

I believe I can help….

Therapist with History of Complex Trauma

Highly recommended supportive professional with a long standing history of meeting challenges with genuine compassion and an open minded approach that allows client growth for even the most sensitive of issues. Natalie has repeatedly proven to be dedicated to ethical practices while taking into consideration individual needs. Working with Natalie has been irreplaceable both in my personal healing and professional development.

Divorce Recovery Client

Natalie is a supportive, honest and caring therapist. She helped me through the most difficult time of my life. She helped me realize my value and worth in the world. She also helped me brainstorm ideas when dealing with problems. I could be honest and vulnerable with her about anything on my mind. She gave me her honest feedback. Her EMDR work was life-changing and really helped me connect my what my brain knew to be true with my emotional thoughts so that I could live in reality rather than be stuck in my emotions. When I got off base, she steered me straight. She helped me understand the grief, sadness and disappointment I was feeling. She encouraged me to read things that would help me even though they were difficult to accept. I am now towards the end of my therapy and I feel like a different person. I will forever be grateful for the support she provided during this time. I highly recommend her for any person dealing with unexpected, life-changing life events.

Client and Therapist

As a therapist myself, I’d like to think that I know how to spot a good one, and I believe that Natalie is one of the good ones. She is professional, personable, and willing to go with me into the deep stuff. She knows when to nudge me and when to hold space; when to give me honest, sometimes hard, feedback and when to hold back and let me figure it out. Beyond that, I would describe her as compassionate and kind, competent and wise. I totally recommend her.

Client using All Reset Modalities

When I was looking for a therapist, finding one who was also a Christian counselor was important. When I spoke with Natalie, before I asked, she said she did Christian counseling. We started working together with her guidance, knowledge, and faith. It’s a positive journey of learning, understanding and strengthening of my faith. Recently, we started EMDR therapy and it’s amazing! Using EMDR during the pandemic has lessened my worries and made me more confident. EMDR therapy is teaching me healing. It has changed years of self-blaming into positive, truthful and soothing beliefs. As I continue to learn from my past, I know that the present and future will be filled with love for myself, understanding, confidence and peace. I’m very grateful to Natalie and to God.

Couple Married 34 Years

My wife and I started seeing Natalie during the summer of 2019, just after our 34th wedding anniversary.  Our marriage was heading in the wrong direction.  The challenges of starting a new business, aging parents, and death of a sibling only highlighted and intensified our differences.  Natalie listened, learned about us, then helped guide my wife and I through the long journey back.   We now have the tools to effectively communicate so we are both heard.  We now understand and embrace our differences.  We now understand how our past led us to the present and how to set boundaries.  We just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary and our marriage is better than before.  There still will be bumps in the road, but we now have the tools and understanding to navigate them.   Natalie helped save our marriage.  Without her, my wife and I would not have made it through last year.

Client in Mid Life Crisis

As my therapist, Natalie Chandler has utilized her strong faith coupled with her superior clinical skills to guide me through several of life calamities – death of my parents, career stress, menopause, family strife, weight issues, crisis of faith, confusion about personal identity and a pandemic.  I never felt alone because Natalie provided patience, endurance, honesty, and a safe space to work through my problems.  The technique of EMDR seemed weird to me at first but I soon experienced its power and positive impact.
I will be forever indebted to Natalie for giving me her help and sharing her heart during my lengthy mid-life crisis.

Time for a Reset

We recently got a puppy. It has been so much fun watching this little guy grow up literally in just a few months. He is from a rescue so he definitely was in need of some training. He's friendly but at times has a trauma trigger and will snip at one of us. He is so...
